Dracula Untold - trailer review Looks Disappointing
I was somehow expecting something quite unique and that is what it was for the first 1:11 of the new upcoming movie about Dracula, but it then lends to it's mass supernatural audience for viewing.
I would've liked to see the story of the Romanian prince Vlad III. Because of his methods of torture, the vicious and cruel nature of war, but also successful leader. I'd rather see that than the superstitious story.
The story of the Saxons in Wallachia would've been a good backdrop against the story and also the history of civil byzantine construction considering the earthquake prone locale but also their labor and harsh conditions.
It's also a beautiful but remote location, perhaps one day it would be nice to visit.
