TPG: The One month payment scam and how to cancel your TPG service
I find it unfair that you need to pay one month for not using a service. You don't pay an extra month for car insurance, car registration but Total Peripheral Group AKA TPG also historically known as TPGI make you contractually liable to pay for one month on top of your disconnection of a service.
You can fill out the online cancellation form at:
https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/your_account/cancel.php.
You will not find this link anywhere on the TPG website, this is poor business practice but not unexpected for Australian business practice.
Remember, you will have to pay one month for something that you didn't use, that's their bottom line.
Cancelling your TPG ADSL account is quick but not easy.
The form you need to fill out is not listed anywhere on their cyberstore account information page. Can you see where to cancel your account?
Obviously they don't want to lose you as a customer, but hindering the process to leave is on a facebook level of control. You can fill out the online cancellation form at:
