The Google Pixel 6a has been my daily phone up until about 6 months ago when I decided to go get a iPhone 12. I started to think about what it was like to use a Apple product and it was probably one of the most dated experiences with a phone system. It was only until I smashed the rear glass that I booted up my Pixel and it felt comfortable to use, even after using iPhone for a while.

Three annoyances where:

* Keyboard pasting when in a secure page.

* Miss clicking words on the keyboard as well as fighting where spaces went as well as capitalisation and punctuation

* Sliding from one app to another and reminding me in the top right corner that the other app existed

* A strange knocking sound coming from recording video as well, and this surprised me was the poor picture quality of pictures especial when zoomed in

* Battery life is below 12 hours long 

My resuming bugbears are the weight of the Pixel 6a, no face unlock unless you jailbreak it and the screen real-estate is somewhat smaller. The battery life is better, maybe a day and a bit but still not as great as my old 2020 Motorola 5G.

In the end, a phone is really what works with you. They'll have quirks. Two phones that I was considering was the Motorola Edge 30 and the Nokia XR20. Another phone was the HMD.
